Pals for 23 years, they bonded in college over a love of music, NBA Jam and Star Wars.
Reunited at Celebration Orlando 2017, Lee and Trent are handing out these pins as free SWAG to commemorate their theoretical mid-90s hip hop band BOBA PHAT 40. Named after a sight gag in Evan Dorkin's classic comic Milk & Cheese, the "band" never wrote or recorded a song, although they did have a website and stickers.
These hand-made pins and cardbacks are a labor of love, recreating the bottle design that started the joke. A very limited edition of 17 plus a few artists proofs are floating around. There are four different colorways, the most common being a yellow label.
